In analipsology, a channel, also referred to as a transcensional channel, analiptic channel or channel to transcension, is a means by which an individual may achieve personal transcension (astrosis) or by which humanity as a whole may achieve or progress closer to achieving transcension through the use of agent (see agency). Essentially, then, a channel is a medium or vehicle by which to achieve transcension, of which there includes physical, intellectual (including emotional) and spiritual forms. Channels to transcension emerge within Astronism as a result of the belief system’s analipsocentricity (its focus on transcension, or its perception of everything through the guise of transcension).

Physical channels: space exploration, expansion into space, astronomical observation.

Intellectual channels: subsumption, mysticism (can include spirituality), enknowledgement.

Spiritual channels: divine intervenience, spirituality and spirit communication, divine providence, divine will.
